Equestrian Centre Leeds pony days
Own your own pony for a day!
During school holidays, Middleton Park Equestrian Centre in Leeds holds regular Pony Days. This an opportunity for a child to have complete care of a particular pony throughout the day, though always under supervision. It is a chance to interact with a pony one-on-one, to learn about their character and really get to understand them. More than just riding, pony days are an opportunity for the children to learn to handle the pony in the stable, on the ground, to lead them, groom them and even to muck out. The emphasis is on fun and on building confidence and skills.
Pony days are full days. Usually the programme will include grooming and other aspects of horsemanship, riding tuition, mounted gymkhana games, quizzes and other fun activities.

We also host birthday parties at MPEC. The party lasts for two hours either in
the morning or the afternoon. The first hour is spent with the ponies in the arena where the children will be in teams playing games. The second hour is spent untacking and grooming the ponies back in the stables. We take a maximum of 10 children and a minimum of 4.
Adrian Forrest fron Pudsey, says:
My daughter Briony went on a pony day with her friends for her 6th birthday, and she loved it. I still remember it well and so do all her friends. In fact it made such an impression with her that she still rides at Middleton Park every week, and has just celebrated her 17th birthday.
Happy birthday Briony from all of us at MPEC and thank you for still riding here with us....
Middleton Park Equestrian Centre pony days are from 10am - 3pm, normally every Tuesday & Thursday through the holidays.
If you book 2 pony days within the same week, they will cost £55.00 each, or for the single pony day it will cost £35.00
